LANchamp - For The Gamers

Predictions:
Round one Best of Three Maps:
de_dust2, de_train, de_inferno

The Last Resort vs Area51 East
The Last Resort is coming into this match fresh off a huge victory in the last LANchamp held in Los Angeles. They are arguably the best NA Source team to date at the moment. Area51 East has a few talented players that have I personally have played against, being Joshua "Daemos" Hayes, Dawson "Waxxt" Coffey and Nicolas "Dutch" Vanderlinden. However, I have a few sources saying that Dutch will not be playing, which is kind of an upset for me. I think if TLR doesn't take Area51 lightly, which I'm pretty sure they will not, they will win in two maps with ease. Sam "DaZed" Marine and Carey "frozt" Kertenian will rack up kills with their AWPs while Adam "xperience" Leonard and Ryan "ryan" Romba do the dirty up close work with their rifles. Look out for some good, unexpected clutches from Waxxt and Daemos.

The Last Resort > Area51 East (2-0)
PTW - Sam "DaZed" Marine
PTW -  Joshua "Daemos" Hayes

Crucial Connexion vs SP

Both teams, in my opinion are completely online. In this case, that is good for them, because hey, this is currently online. SP was robbed their spot at Los Angeles in the last LANchamp, so they are going to be hungry for a spot this time around. Trey "tck" Martin will be the guy to look out for on SP and Paul "Torr" Mueller is c2's fragger to watch for. This can go either way, but considering SP's last performance and the fact they were robbed, they will want it more.

SP > Crucial Connexion (2-1)
PTW  - Trey "tck" Martin
PTW - Paul "Torr" Mueller

Area51 West vs Zomblerz
I really like both of these teams, but only one can win :(. Zomblerz doesn't have Sam "devour" Chamma anymore.. but they do have Eric "brawwr" Neer who is coming back into the game after a long break after The CGS. Overall, Zomblerz has a very stacked roster, but they seem to be in some kind of a hole the past few months that they are having difficulties getting out of. Hopefully brawwr is what they need to bounce back! Zomblerz will most likely play the same play style with two awpers being brawwr and Frank "ridic" Savettiere and assuming Justin "heatwave" Mckay and Grant "griff" Hall leading the team in-game. Being that the first two maps are train and dust2, heavily awping maps, Area51 will have a tough time. To my knowledge, they will have Tommy "trerobinson" Borland and Tony "a!m" Fuentes with awps in hand, but I'm not too sure that will be good enough vs the zomblerz. If practiced enough, Area51 might be able to sneak away with a win on dust2, so for the benefit of the doubt, I'll give that map to them.

Zomblerz > Area51 West (2-1)
PTW - Frank "ridic" Savettiere
PTW - Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir

Dynamic vs Zero Five Zero
There has been a lot of talk about Philippe-Olivier "PEX" Crepin with him using some vent.exe cheat or some shit. Personally, I know nothing about it and I won't base my prediction on it. First round however, cheats or no cheats, Dynamic has this one fairly easy. Zero Five Zero, being one of my previous teams, isn't very stable when it comes to rosters. Even though we see a well known player, Josh "haqshot^" Lanigan on the roster, he has been out of the game for quite some time now. If they had more time to practice, they would actually do quite well against dynamic, but that isn't the case here. Kevin "AZK" Lariviere and Eric "adreN" Hoag with the rest of Dynamic will have a fun time fragging hard and racking up as many points as they can.

Dynamic > Zero Five Zero (2-0)
PTW - Kevin "AZK" Lariviere
PTW - Josh "haqshot^" Lanigan

Devastation vs Blight Canada
Devastation has been around for a very long time now. It always seems to be the same three or four every time, with only little changes. Stephen "sasquatcH" Csikos and Matthew "ChEekz" Csikos will lead the scoreboard for Devastation just dominating Blight Canada on both maps. So far, Blight Canada hasn't shown much consistency by losing first round in the last tournament to SP, but maybe they will prove me wrong and find a way to take down Devastation with surprise. Personally, I don't think so, but anything can happen in this game.

Devastation > Blight Canada (2-0)
PTW - Matthew "ChEekz"Csikos
PTW - Jeremy "ridox" Montulet

Cyber Revolution vs Forbidden
Cyber Revolution has an extremely solid roster. With Jarrod "Remix" Shaw and Llyod "shaffeR" Shaffer leading the team in-game with Joshua "Steel" Nissan taking control of the scoreboard with points, Forbidden doesn't have much of a chance at all. The only two people from Forbidden I personally think will perform are Jonathon "mess1ah" Hammond and Edelreich "br1cks" Deloslado. I don't think this roster for Forbidden has the individual talent to compete with Cyber Rev. Cyber Revolution in two, hands down.

Cyber Revolution > Forbidden (2-0)
PTW - Llyod "shaffeR" Shaffer

PTW - Edelreich "br1cks" Deloslado

JustAGame vs Mika Gaming
Mika Gaming looks to me like the old 3D.NY if you were to ask me. With the addition of Kyle "Ksharp" Miller and Salvatore "Volcano" Garozzo, Mika Gaming is going to be nothing but better than their previous attempt in Los Angeles. With Nick "n0it" Nowakowski and Ksharp awps and their three support rifles, nothing will get by their defense. If I can remember correctly, Kyle "Mustang" Cummings is one of the best ladder players on de_train, if not the best arguably. JAG will have to put a lot of time into teamwork and finding a hold in Mika's defense if they want to win rounds T side and will have to play their absolute best on defense. There will be no room for mistakes for JAG.

Mika Gaming > JustAGame (2-0)
PTW -  Kyle "Mustang" Cummings
PTW - Ryan "calgeR" Calger
